2000-09

The cover of Time magazine labeled the 2000s “the decade from hell.” Bookended by 9/11 at the start and a financial wipeout at the end, the first 10 years of this century will very likely go down as the most dispiriting and disillusioning decade Americans have lived through in the post–World War II era,” Andrew Serwer wrote.1 The decade was littered with recessions, stock market crashes, financial scandals, antitrust cases, and flat-out disasters all around. But the 2000s were also a decade of tremendous change for the IT industry, with disruptive technologies, market-altering mergers, and trailblazing products that transformed the economic landscape forever and drastically changed the way we live. From the Y2K bug and the HP-Compaq merger, to Apple’s rebound and an insider trading scandal, the decade saw a wealth of historic events.

The United States Supreme Court ruling in KSR v. Teleflex fundamentally changes Patent Law Making it Harder to Protect Patents

The United States Supreme Court ruling in KSR v. Teleflex fundamentally changed the law of obviousness, making it harder to obtain patent protection. The Supreme Court’s decision in KSR essentially says that if you set out to accomplish something and you do accomplish what you set out to achieve then the resulting innovation is obvious. Of course, that is ridiculous because under such a standard only accidental innovation would be patentable, and even more astonishing given that the ruling as announced directly conflicts with the 1952 Patent Act and more specifically the ...

2007-08 Financial Collapse Begins with the Filing for Bankruptcy by New Century Financial

New Century Financial, one of the largest sub-prime lenders in the US, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on April 2nd of 2007, beginning the collapse of the financial market in 2007 and 2008. "The crash has laid bare many unpleasant truths about the United States. One of the most alarming, says a former chief economist of the International Monetary Fund, is that the finance industry has effectively captured our government—a state of affairs that more typically describes emerging markets, and is at the center of many emerging-market crises ...

Harvard Study Concludes ‘The More Guns a Nation Has, the Less Criminal Activity’

A Harvard study published by the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy  concluded, “The more guns a nation has, the less criminal activity.” The study’s conclusion is contradictory to conventional wisdom about gun violence and understandably received very little media attention. Norway, Finland, Germany, France and Denmark, which have high rates of gun ownership, have low murder rates. On the other hand, in Luxembourg, where handguns are totally banned and ownership of any kind of gun is minimal, the murder rate is nine times higher than Germany. Guns are ...

Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture Announced that over 700 Scientists have Signed Statement Against Darwinism

Another 100 scientists have joined the ranks of scientists from around the world publicly stating their doubts about the adequacy of Darwin’s theory of evolution. “Darwinism is a trivial idea that has been elevated to the status of the scientific theory that governs modern biology,” says dissent list signer Dr. Michael Egnor. Egnor is a professor of neurosurgery and pediatrics at State University of New York, Stony Brook and an award-winning brain surgeon named one of New York’s best doctors by New York Magazine. FBI Whistleblower Jane Turner Awarded $565,000 after FBI Retaliation for Exposing Cover Up Cases Involving Sexually Abused Children in Indian Country

In 1999, former FBI special agent Jane Turner brought to the attention of her management team serious misconduct concerning failures to investigate and prosecute crimes against children in Indian Country and in the Minot, North Dakota community. Turner also reported on misconduct related to the potential criminal theft of property from the 9/11 Ground Zero crime scene in New York City by Minneapolis FBI personnel. Although she was considered one of the best agents working in Indian Country, Turner's twenty-five year career with the FBI was brought to ...

Mama Lois Anderson, Who May Have Helped with the Birth of Obama, is Murdered in Kenya 2 Weeks Before He Enters Presidential Race

'Mama Lois'Anderson,  an American Christian Missionary, who reportedly helped young Ann Dunham handle events surrounding the birth of Barry Soetoro (Barrack Hussein Obama), was murdered in Kenya on January 27, 2007. Obama formerly declared his intention to enter the race for the U.S. presidency on February 10, 2007. The circumstances surrounding the murder and carjacking were very troubling and suspicious. Was Lois Anderson murdered to prevent any possibility that she might reveal 1st hand account details regarding the birth of Barack Obama in Kenya in August 1961? Setting aside ...

NIAC Pandemic Plan contained Original List of ‘Essential Businesses’ Used by CISA in 2020 to Lock Down America

More and more evidence is coming to light that the ‘lockdown and wait for a vaccine’ strategy unleashed in 2020 was being cooked up inside the U.S. Government for decades before COVID-19 appeared and gave too many people an excuse to put the dreadful plan into action. In late 2022, the role of CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) in producing key lockdown guidance for America in March 2020 came to light. Now, a pandemic plan from 2007 produced by the National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) and currently hosted on the ...

Wikileaks Releases State Department Cable that Reveals Plan To Use Terror, Intrigue, Kurds To Destabilize Syria, Weaken Assad

Despite the bulk of the attempted destruction of Syria having taken place during the Obama administration, the fact is that the agenda began marching years before Obama took office and it is continuing to do so today. Ample evidence has been provided demonstrating that a plan to destroy the Syrian government goes back at least to the Bush Jr. administration and the desire to do so goes even further back than that. One such piece of evidence is a secret State Department cable obtained by Wikileaks entitled “Influencing ...

Franklin Scandal #2? Bush Fired Several U.S. Attorneys to Cover up a Pedophile Ring Being Run out of the D.C. Hotels Involving Congressmen, Senators and Reporters!

The official story from MSM/Wikipedia: On December 7, 2006, the George W. Bush administration's Department of Justice ordered the unprecedented midterm dismissal of seven United States Attorneys. Congressional investigations focused on whether the Department of Justice and the White House were using the U.S. Attorney positions for political advantage. Allegations were that some of the attorneys were targeted for dismissal to impede investigations of Republican politicians or that some were targeted for their failure to initiate investigations that would damage Democratic politicians or hamper Democratic-leaning voters. The U.S ...

Former KGB, Alexander Litvinenko, Dies from Polonium 210 Poison Which he Believes was Ordered by Putin

As Alexander Litvinenko lay dying under tight police protection at London’s University College hospital, he pointed an accusing finger at the man he believed responsible for ordering his assassination: Russian President Vladimir Putin. The dying man had good cause for suspecting Putin. Abundant evidence, including a radioactive trail of polonium-210, the substance used to poison him, leads right back to Putin’s operatives in Moscow. In addition, the Kremlin’s heavy-handed tactics to thwart the efforts of British police detectives sent to Russia to investigate the poisoning do little for ...
