Former FBI Assisstand Director of the Counterintelligence Division (2015-18) who served during the Hillary Clinton email cover up as well as during RussiaGate (He open the Crossfire Hurricane investigation into the Trump campaign). He claimed in front of Congress in 2017 that he could not comment on whether President Trump was an unwitting agent for Russia or not although he knew there was no connection. Priestap was Peter Strzok’s boss and academy classmate. His own notes prior to the General flynn interview, show that Priestap and others planned to setup General Flynn to catch him in a lie so they could get him fired or prosecuted.1 Priestap retired in April 2019 soon after becoming eligible (20 years).
According to a document provided to Lindsey Graham by Christopher Wray, Priestap briefed the Senate Intelligence Committee on the veracity of the Steele dossier after FBI investigators interviewed the Russian subsource. This briefing did not discredit the dossier that was known by FBI investigators to be false. He graduated from the conservative Hillsdale College in 1991 before earning a master’s degree in educational administration from Norwich University, then a J.D. and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Detroit-Mercy.
Respecting his graduation from the fine Hillsdale College, where constitutional law and liberty are a priority, his demise tells us just how corrupting the FBI can be, or that he regretfully did as was told (wrong regardless), but still not a deep stater and one of the first to get prosecuted.
