Dr. Simone Gold of California has been sentenced to 60 days in jail for “entering and remaining in a restricted building” when she walked into the U.S. Capitol building on January 6th.

Dr. Gold, a Stanford graduate who founded the group America’s Frontline Doctors, has been attacked by mainstream media over the past few years for vocalizing her opinions on Covid-19 lockdowns, masks, vaccines and more.
Due to her status as a symbol for the “anti-vax” movement, the DOJ’s focus on her appears to be political in nature.
After all, there were an estimated one million people at the Capitol that day, and countless individuals who also entered “restricted buildings” have not been charged as Dr. Gold has been.
As American Greatness writer Julie Kelly noted on Twitter Friday, “The same DOJ asking for leniency for 2020 rioters asked DC Judge Chris Cooper (Sussmann judge) to sentence Dr. Simone Gold to 90 days in jail for her nonviolent involvement in January 6.”

The DOJ is attempting to get the maximum amount of press coverage in relation to Jan. 6th by going after attendees with public profiles, such as Joe Biggs, Enrique Tarrio, Stewart Rhodes, Alex Jones, Roger Stone, Owen Shroyer and even Donald Trump himself.
Prior to being sentenced on Friday, America’s Frontline Doctors released a statement on behalf of Dr. Gold.
The group noted that, “Like most January 6 defendants,” Dr. Gold “is a victim of selective prosecution – the defining feature of corrupted governments.”
“On January 6th, Dr. Gold was scheduled to speak alongside about a dozen other presenters after President Trump’s appearance at the rally,” the press release explained. “Shortly before her speech, Dr. Gold was advised all speeches were canceled. After hearing this, Dr. Gold was amongst thousands swept into the Capitol building when the doors were opened from the inside. While inside, Dr. Gold decided to deliver her remarks there. When an officer asked her to leave, she did.”
Continuing, the group said Dr. Gold “peacefully gave a speech on medical freedom in the public Rotunda,” on January 6th.
“This resulted in the government violently arresting her by breaking down her door, sending 20 SWAT officers (including 12 of them with AR15 guns pointing at her from two feet away), loss of freedom, loss of movement and loss of other Constitutionally protected civil rights,” the medical experts stated.
In addition to pointing out the government is keying in on high-profile individuals, the public statement also addressed the fact that the FBI won’t say how many undercover agents took part in the events of January 6th.
“The government has aggressively not arrested or prosecuted certain highly visible individuals seen on videotape who waived people into the building,” the group wrote.
In conclusion, the doctors stated, “The First Amendment is crumbling before us, and we must continue to stand for what is right. Never will we give in to the threats of government. Dr. Gold risked her career when she stood against the mainstream narrative to save lives. Now, she stands here boldly, risking her freedom, to choose what is right over what is comfortable. We must learn to be so bold and continue to stand together against the tyranny we face.”
The Biden administration is being exposed as the authoritarian regime it truly is.
