On the evening of April 30th, 1966, obviously lasting into the early morning hours of May 1st, Anton Levay holds the first ritual of the Church of Satan. The evening of April 30th is Walpurgis Night, is the eve of the feast day of Saint Walpurga, an 8th-century abbess in Francia. In Germanic folklore, Walpurgisnacht, also called Hexennacht (Dutch: heksennacht), literally “Witches’ Night”, is believed to be the night of a witches’ meeting on the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, a range of wooded hills in central Germany between the rivers Weser and Elbe. The first known written occurrence of the English translation “Walpurgis Night” is from the 19th century. Local variants of Walpurgis Night are observed throughout Europe. April 30 – May 1 is the highest day on the Druidic Witch’s Calendar. May 1 is the Illuminati’s second most sacred holiday. Human sacrifice is required.
In The Satanic Bible, LaVey revealed and explained the credos of Satanism as proclaimed by the Church of Satan. In his introduction to the work, he described Satanism as being “dedicated to the dark, hidden force in nature responsible for the workings of earthly affairs for which science and religion had no explanation.” He explained that he was moved to establish the Church of Satan when he saw the need for a church that would “recapture man’s body and carnal desires as objects of celebration.” The Church of Satan preaches a religious system that endeavors to overcome the repressions and inhibitions of human instinctual behavior it believes has been fostered by the Judeo-Christian tradition.
The Satanist doctrine celebrates man the animal. It exalts sexual lust above spiritual love, claiming that the latter is but a sham and a cover-up. Satanism declares that violence must be met with violence and that to love one’s neighbor is a utopian unreality. “Hate your enemies with a whole heart,” The Satanic Bible advises. “And if a man smite you on one cheek, smash him on the other! Smite him hip and thigh, for self-preservation is the highest law!” (Section III, paragraph 7).
Anton LaVey, the founder of the First Church of Satan in San Francisco, ran away from home at the age of 17 to work as a cage boy for the circus lion tamer Clyde Beatty. Later, LaVey became a carnival mentalist and hypnotist, then an organ player for the dancers and strippers in the sideshows. On Sunday mornings he had an extra job playing the organ for an evangelist who conducted revival meetings in a large tent on the neighboring lot.
Wikipedia deleted mention of the fact of Anton Levay’s Jewish ancestry, and removed the background info on LaVey’s early days running stolen guns for Israel.
Tony [Anton] learned new lessons from the underworld “businessmen” in newly established Las Vegas when he accompanied and assisted his father’s brother, Bill LaVey’s business there after the war. The emerging gambling capital was just a tiny oasis in the middle of the desert. Bill had provided good raw alcohol to Al Capone’s distillers during Prohibition in Chicago and renewed old ties after the war, having enjoyed a prosperous wartime business manufacturing aircraft landing gear and patrol boats. Bill became involved with Bugsy Siegel in developing the Flamingo for Meyer Lansky. As Tony sat with his uncle in gambling joints and nightclubs, Siegel lieutenants like Al Greenberg and Moe Sedway had their own interests to advocate to an impressionable LaVey. (page 6)
[On page 14, in typical jewish fashion LaVey claims he had a sexual relationship with Marilyn Monroe during a time in her life which no one can verify]When the Korean War started, Anton was faced with the possibility of getting drafted. In those days a young man didn’t run to Canada to avoid the draft, but he could enroll in college. Even though Anton had never bothered to finish high school, he didn’t let that stand in his way. That wasn’t a hindrance to someone who had wisely learned the tricks of a carny instead. In September, 1949, he enrolled in San Francisco City College as a Criminology major and set about establishing himself as a respectable student. After classes, Anton made money the best way he knew – playing music.
Through friends, he became involved with militant Israeli groups, some of which were running guns to the newly emerged nation – organizations with names like Betar, Hashimer Hatzair, Poale Zion, the Stern Gang, and Irgun […]. Paradoxically, at this same time LaVey was playing piano for reunions of the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, those Americans whose idealism led them to Spain in the 30’s to fight for what they thought right, though irrevocably branded as leftist. It was here Anton met men like Dalton Trumbo and Alvah Bessie, two of the most notorious members of the “Hollywood Ten.” Bessie worked lights at the gatherings, unable to find work anywhere else. Anton’s knowledge that he was being filmed by the F.B.I. as he walked into the meeting halls didn’t seem to deter him. […]
His sympathy for groups labeled “Commies” by prevailing conditions was undisguised. […]
LaVey recalls, “The whole thing was very much like the escapades in old movies like The Woman on Pier 13. There were two main rendezvous spots in San Francisco, a Jewish Community Center and a Workers’ Collective downtown, where fellows would come in off the boat and went right down to meet contacts in the library of one of these places. I would be hired to play for a fashion show or variety show, then I’d get through and go right down to the docks where crates of guns were being loaded onto ships to Israel. Many of the guns were ones that had been ‘liberated’ during the war by American soldiers and were slated as DEWAT [deactivated war trophies]. But before they had a chance to be officially deactivated they were cosmolined up and sent to Israel. They’d wind up in a crate marked ‘menorahs’ or something – mostly German MP 40’s and P-38’s, but even Japanese Nambus, anything could get their hands on. Afterwards, I’d get letters of praise from the fashion show organizers saying how much I’d added to their presentation; little did they know what I’d been doing after their show. […]
“I felt a culmination of that whole episode in my life many years later, shortly after The Satanic Bible came out. I met with Assaf Dayan, actor son of Israel’s legendary Defense Minister Moshe Dayan, and he was glowing about the book, agreed with every in it. He said it was exactly the philosophy they practiced […] in modern Israel. He extended an invitation for me to stay at his family home in Tel Aviv whenever I wished.” (page 16) – (Source)
In the 1950s, LaVey became a San Francisco Police Department crime scene photographer, but he maintained the same fascination for magic that had driven him to perform as a stage mentalist, hypnotist, and magician in the carnivals and circuses of his youth, and he soon included a widening circle of devotees in his Magic Circle discussion group. In the late 1960s, when he founded the First Church of Satan, LaVey became immediately popular in the media, often allowing reporters to attend certain rituals that he conducted over the living altar of a woman’s naked body in his church, the famous “Black House,” said to have been a brothel. Then in a sudden rush came the books, the attention from movie stars, the position as technical advisor to such motion pictures as Rosemary’s Baby, (1968), and the hostility of millions of devout Christians, who saw LaVey as a kind of antichrist. By the 1970s, the death threats and the harassment had become oppressive, and LaVey went underground, ceased all public ceremonies, and recast his church as a secret society.
On the inside of the Eagles ‘Hotel California’ hit album’s cover, pictured below, Anton LaVey (founder of the Church of Satan in 1966) is seen peering down from the balcony (who is circled in red).
The Eagles’ manager, Larry Salter, admitted in the Waco Tribune-Herald (Feb. 28, 1982), that the Eagles were involved with the Church of Satan! Not surprisingly, one of the Eagles’ songs is titled “Have A Good Day in Hell.”
Here are some of the demonic lyrics from the song, Hotel California…
Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said ‘We are all just prisoners here, of our own device’
And in the master’s chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can’t kill the beast
Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
‘Relax,’ said the night man,
‘We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave!’
I‘ve heard some pretty lame explanations of what these lyrics mean. Anyone who is familiar with the Bible knows that the Beast is the coming Antichrist (Revelation 20:10). Witchcraft lyrics are deliberately written in short incomplete phrases, to convey ideas without detection. Elton John collaborated with Bernie Taupin, a witch, to incorporate witchcraft lyrics into all his music. Even The Beach Boys were admittedly practicing witchcraft and trying to create witchcraft music back in the 1960’s. There is MUCH witchcraft lyrics in secular music, dark sayings, which convey unholy ideas into the listener’s mind.
In the mid ’90s, Marilyn Manson became a card-carrying member of the Church of Satan. He was even ordained as an honorary priest, which is why he’s credited in the liner notes of the EP ‘Smells Like Children’ as Reverend Marilyn Manson. The pianist Liberace was one of the Church of Satan’s first members and likely its most flamboyant. The unlikely duo of Levay and Jayne Mansfield, a High Priestess in the Church of Satan, reportedly shared a romantic relationship as well as philosophical beliefs. Sammy Davis, Jr. another famous member.
