Bill Gates Foundation Donates $200 Million to Expand Digital ID Surveillance System

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation donated $1.27 billion to “advance progress toward the global goals” during United Nations General Assembly week last month, with $200 million going toward the development of an invasive global digital ID system, Life Site News reported.

“We see the greatest progress when governments, the private sector, and local communities collaborate in global health programs,” said Bill Gates, co-chair. “The commitment this week to combat preventable diseases and save millions more lives through the Global Fund replenishment is a great step forward in getting back on track to reach the Sustainable Development Goals.”

The $200 million will be used to expand global Digital Public Infrastructure.

“This funding will help expand infrastructure that low- and middle-income countries can use to become more resilient to crises such as food shortages, public health threats, and climate change, as well as to aid in pandemic and economic recovery. This infrastructure encompasses tools such as interoperable payment systems, digital ID, data-sharing systems, and civil registry databases,” according to the news release published on Gates Foundation’s website.

Life Site News reported:

Michael Rectenwald, author of “Google Archipelago: The Digital Gulag and the Simulation of Freedom,” with The Defender that “of all the other means of identifying and tracking subjects, digital identity poses perhaps the gravest technological threat to individual liberty yet conceived.”

Rectenwald went on to say that digital ID “has the potential to trace, track and surveil subjects and to compile a complete record of all activity, from cradle to grave.”

As LifeSiteNews has previously reported, the elites now want to continue certain aspects of the COVID-era restrictions, which includes a desire to make digital IDs a permanent and universal reality that is already established in countries such as China.

China’s social credit system is a massive undertaking of government surveillance that utilizes facial recognition technology in order to have the ability to identity every single person in China. It does this through some 600 million surveillance cameras and is used to uphold their social credit system.

The Gates Foundation’s pledge of $200 million to the global digital ID would establish a system dangerously close to that of China. However, organizations such as the World Economic Forum see this as a good thing, stating that China’s system has actually “delivered tangible benefits” to its citizens.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the World Health Organization “Global Pandemic Treaty” includes plan For mandatory, Universal Digital Passport and ID System

From the joint WHO and T-Systems announcement:

“The World Health Organization (WHO) will make it easier for its member states to introduce digital vaccination certificates in the future. The WHO is setting up a gateway for this purpose. It enables QR codes on electronic vaccination certificates to be checked across national borders.

It is intended to serve as a standard procedure for other vaccinations such as polio or yellow fever after COVID-19. The WHO has selected T-Systems as an industry partner to develop the vaccination validation services.”

Oh, is that all?

From Mehl (via The Brownstone Institute):

“Vaccination certificates that are tamper-proof and digitally verifiable build trust. WHO is therefore supporting member states in building national and regional trust networks and verification technology.

The WHO’s gateway service also serves as a bridge between regional systems. It can also be used as part of future vaccination campaigns and home-based records.”

Big tech and medical giants like Oracle, Microsoft, and the Mayo Clinic are apparently working together to create a digital COVID-19 vaccination passport that can be used by companies, airlines, and governments to verify whether or not a person has received the vaccine.
