In a series of remarks made before the World Economic Forum (WEF) in January 2020, primatologist Jane Goodall explained how she thinks human population growth is becoming a problem. The video of her remarks recently resurfaced online, prompting great concern among internet users.
WEF – “We cannot hide away from human population… All these things we talk about wouldn’t be a problem if it was the size of the population 500 years ago.”

“We cannot hide away from human population growth,” argued Goodall in January. “All these things we talk about wouldn’t be a problem if there was the size of population that there was 500 years ago.”
In response to the remarks, New Discourses founder James Lindsay noted that the total human population 500 years ago was about 6% of what it is today; around 461 million people.
Goodall’s open fantasies of a world without 94% of the human race prompted internet users to issue their concerns over eugenics and depopulation. “This is the issue that is REALLY driving the elites’ designs: ‘reducing carbon footprints’ and ‘eradicating the virus’ are really about preparing the world for far less of us being in it,” tweeted one user.
Several users pointed out that the population numbers Goodall was referring to appear to be close to the population numbers listed on the Georgia Guidestones, an art exhibit erected in 1980 that calls for humanity to be maintained “under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.”

The remarks prompted further concern over the WEF’s “Great Reset” agenda, a plan understood by many to be a “reset” of global economics to ultimately replace the system with a totalitarian global state. Some concerns with the Great Reset include the ideas of population control, high-tech invasive surveillance, a global social credit system, and the calculated destruction of economies to usher in world government.
The Great Reset is the cutesy market-y way of saying a desire to mass genocide commoners by elite globalist communists. https://t.co/qlmstAsLaB

As National File previously reported, the WEF’s Great Reset plan involves a collaboration between national governments and international bodies to “reset capitalism” with an integrated transnational technocratic welfare/surveillance state by the year 2030. The World Economic Forum is best known for its annual Davos Summit, where thousands of members of the world’s corporate and political elite meet under extreme hi-tech security to discuss global collaboration.
