The theory that the earth is flat and stationary, not a ball spinning at its equator at over 1000 miles per hour and rotating around the sun at 67,000 miles per hour. Advocates site not only the Bible as proof that the earth is flat and stationary, they also point to science such as the buoyancy, density, the Pythagorean theorem to measure curvature, centripetal and centrifugal force, etc. Most believe that the firmament, as taught by the Bible, is a hard, glass-like dome that encloses the earth above the atmosphere and contains the sun, moon, and stars. They believe NASA is a deceptive organization made up mostly of Freemasons that faked the moon landing and lie about the nature of our universe.
