Lt. Gen. David McCloud, part of a Group of Flag Officers that Sought to arrest Bill Clinton for Treason under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Crashes Aircraft

Lt. Gen. David McCloud served as Clinton’s director for the Joint Chiefs of Staff Force Structure, Resources and Assessment Directorate, or J-8, from May 1996 to December 1997. He later became the commander of Alaskan Command and 11th Air Force.

McCloud was killed while he piloted his personal YAK-54, a Russian-built, single-engine acrobatic aircraft. The cause of the crash was reportedly unknown.

Several blogs have printed unsubstantiated claims that McCloud had been part of a group of 24 flag officers that sought to arrest Clinton for treason under the Uniform Code of Military Justice while Clinton was president.
