Nord Stream Pipelines Sabotaged by US & Poland

Three deep-water explosions destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines under the Baltic Sea on Monday. While the MSM and governments reported “leaks” in the pipelines following sudden pressure drops to zero, Swedish seismologists knew better. The Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which runs parallel to Nord Stream 1 and was intended to double the capacity for undersea gas imports from Russia, was blocked by Berlin in the days before the start of the war in Ukraine.

One of the three explosions measures 2.3 on the Richter Scale of earthquake intensity, but this was no earthquake. It was explosion—like a gigantic undersea mine. The demolition of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines in the Baltic Sea is one of the most outrageous and evil acts of terrorism and sabotage in the history of our world.

Via Reuters:

Bjorn Lund, seismologist at the Swedish National Seismic Network at Uppsala University, said seismic data gathered by him and Nordic colleagues showed that the explosions took place in the water and not in the rock under the seabed.

The explosions guarantee Germany and the EU won’t go wobbly with regard to sanctions against Russian energy imports. The damage to pipelines will take months repair, and repairs are unlikely to begin until next summer. Even if Germany were to cry “uncle” as civil unrest intensifies over lack of heat and energy, even if Russia decided to turn the power back on, the conduit for Russian gas to Europe is broken.

TASS reports details of the explosions:

The first explosion was recorded at about two o’clock in the morning on Monday, the second at 07:04 p.m. on the same day. Gas leak warnings were issued on Monday at 01:52 p.m. and 08:41 p.m. respectively. Vessels passing through the area reportedly notified the Coast Guard of the seething on the sea surface. Lund argues that there are usually no military exercises in the area of the incident, which could theoretically cause damage to the pipelines.

No military exercises in the area on Monday, but there were military exercises in the area recently enough. We will look into those exercises in a bit.

So, Nord Stream is dead, and the question becomes “whodunnit?”

US military helicopters habitually and on numerous occasions circled for hours over the site of the Nord Stream pipelines incident near Bornholm Island earlier in September, Flightradar24 data shows. Earlier the month of the incident (Sept 2022), a US Navy Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk helicopter spent hours loitering over the location of the damaged natural gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea near Bornholm for several days in a row, September 1, 2, and 3, in particular.

Here are some highlights of Sy Hersh’s investigation (but please read the full piece at Substack):

Last June, the Navy divers, operating under the cover of a widely publicized mid-summer NATO exercise known as BALTOPS 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines, according to a source with direct knowledge of the operational planning. . . .

There was a vital bureaucratic reason for relying on the graduates of the center’s hardcore diving school in Panama City. The divers were Navy only, and not members of America’s Special Operations Command, whose covert operations must be reported to Congress and briefed in advance to the Senate and House leadership—the so-called Gang of Eight. The Biden Administration was doing everything possible to avoid leaks as the planning took place late in 2021 and into the first months of 2022.

Following the incident, German newspaper Tagesspiegel claimed that Berlin is convinced that the loss of pressure in the three natural gas pipelines between Russia and Germany was not a coincidence and suspects a “targeted attack“.

Flightradar24 showed an unidentified aircraft that did not even have a helicopter icon hovering over the site. However, the aircraft’s 24-bit ICAO code included in the description makes it possible to establish the model, which is the US military’s Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk. The code is verified through open resources that collect data on military aircraft.

The US helicopter is also shown by the aircraft tracking service to have flown into the area of loitering over the Nord Stream pipelines from Gdansk, Poland. On the second day of the loitering, almost in parallel with their US counterpart, a Dutch navy NH9 helicopter was flying in the vicinity of Bornholm Island, and it is expected to have been observing the Americans’ activity.

US helicopters also took flights over other Nord Stream pipelines on September 10 and 19 and others stayed over the incident site for hours on the night of September 22 and September 25. Reportedly, helicopters that made sorties on the night of September 22-23 and 25-26 have especially confusing tracks.

These revelations come after German newspaper Der Siegel reported that the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) warned the German government there would be attacks on Nord Stream gas pipelines weeks ahead of any incident being reported around the pipelines. An informed source told the German magazine that Berlin had been told by the CIA a few weeks ago that there would be attacks on the key pipelines supplying a huge portion of Europe’s energy from Russia.

Means, Motive, and Opportunity

To fix a crime on a suspect, police try to establish means, motive, and opportunity. If the victim was shot in his home with no signs of force entry or struggle, the suspects will be people known to the victim who had access to the murder weapon and reason to kill him. Take away any one element—means (gun), motive (gain), or opportunity (access)—and the case falls apart.

If we bounce all three elements against the reasonable suspects, one suspect stands out.

Means eliminates most suspects. Only a government with an advanced naval warfare capability could have executed the sabotage. That limits the suspects to Germany, Great Britain, France, the United States, Russia, and China.

But means also involves proximity. Chinese or French naval activities in the area would have raised flags. Geography would seem to preclude the United States except for the fact the US Navy operates in every ocean in the world with advanced war fighting capabilities. So the list of suspects with the means to destroy Nord Stream is down to the UK, US, Russia, and Germany.

So, we shift to motive.

Germany has no motive to damage its energy lifeline. Germany is highly dependent on Russian natural gas. Entire German industries are being nationalized because of the lack of energy due to sanctions against Russia and Russia reducing flow through the pipelines. Germans held massive protests over the weekend demanding Germany pull out of the anti-Russian alliance in exchange for a return of energy.

Great Britain has also suffered under the sanctions imposed after Russia invaded Ukraine in February. The British economy is in shambles, forcing the UK’s central bank to pivot back to quantitative easing. Additionally, the new government in the UK has its hands full with forming a government. It is unlikely the Brits would attempt such a caper.

Russia seems to have a motive: inflict long-term pain on Europe for sending lethal arms to Ukraine. But Russia didn’t need to blow up the pipelines. Russia controls the valves that send or halt gas flow to Europe, and she’s already turned off the spigot. Russia paid for a portion of the pipeline and expects to resume profitable energy exports to Europe once the war with Ukraine settles. Why would Russia cut off its own nose?

That leaves the United States. So what are its motives?

First, the US became the number one exporter of liquified natural gas to Europe once Russia cut off the flow. German dependence on US LNG is a carrot to keep German in the sanction alliance. With winter approaching and German unrest on the rise, the State Department would have been concerned the Germans would go wobbly, reduce sanctions, cut off arms to Ukraine, and beg Putin for energy. The loss of the Nord Stream pipelines eliminates that path to renewed gas imports to Germany.

Second, the Biden family has long been tangled up in natural gas and Ukraine. Hunter Biden was on the board of Ukraine’s largest natural gas company—a position that provided Ukrainian oligarchs with access to Joe Biden. Hunter, who has no experience in energy, made millions from the deal, and Ukraine got a bought-and-paid-for President of the United States.

Third, the Democrat Biden needs to stanch the popularity bleeding that threatens to kill Democrat control of Congress come November.

So, only the United States has a compelling reason to destroy Europe’s energy lifeline from Russia. Only the United States has both the means and the motive.

But what about opportunity?

Operation BALTOPS 22: June 2022

Seapower magazine—the official magazine of the Navy League—reported in June on a US exercise in the Baltic Sea, directly over the spots where two massive, undersea explosions took out the Nord Stream pipeline.

Seapower’s story highlights new technology allowing the Navy to detonate targets from miles away.

An additional critical objective was to continue to increase the communication range and data transfer capability to give the operators more flexibility in mine hunting operations. Advancements in communication technology, demonstrated this year, have shown a significant improvement in operating ranges over currently used systems. This provides additional standoff flexibility to the U.S. Navy in conducting safe mine hunting operations.

In other words, the Navy had the opportunity to plant explosives on the pipes in June for remote detonation at the time of the President’s choosing.

And the world’s largest amphibious ship, the USS Kearsarge, was recently in the area:

And only the United States had this opportunity.

Also in June, as Operation BALTOPS 22 was underway, the CIA, allegedly, warned Germany that sabotage to the pipelines was imminent:

What’s more, Biden and other administration officials have signaled a willingness to use the pipelines as a means of war. Joe Biden threatened to end Nord Stream if Russia invaded.

That Leaves One

Only the United States had all three elements of a crime: means, motive, and opportunity.

But possessing all three elements of a crime does not make one guilty. In addition to means, motive, and opportunity, the guilty party must also have the moral degeneracy to perpetrate the crime. Everyone who carries a gun has the means, motive, and opportunity to shoot someone at some point, but almost no legal gun owners ever commit the crime. Why?

Because most of us have moral consciences formed well enough to stop us from acting on impulse. We are, as Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, willing to suffer many abuses before pulling the trigger.

So we must ask: does this United States administration have the impulse control to resist using its massive military capabilities? Or is the administration full of people who would shoot someone over mere irritation?

To answer that, think about the FBI storming the home of a pro-life minister, robbing safe deposit boxes after lying to a judge to obtain a warrant, raiding the home of the current president’s primary opponent in the next election, or threatening pro-life pregnancy counselors in Minnesota.

Is the United States capable of committing a high crime on the Baltic Sea?

Of course it is.

The United States under Joe Biden has no moral compass. It is a rudderless and deranged vessel sailing toward base pleasure using power and violence as its only justification for actions.

While we don’t know for sure whether the United States blew up the pipeline, we do know for sure the United States has the means, motive, opportunity, and moral deficit necessary to drive the world to the edge of armageddon in pursuit of power for its elites. And a former Polish Minister of Defense and current member of the European Parliament was quick to affix the blame (or credit) for the explosion:

The following day, Tucker Carlson opened his show suggesting the US and Joe Biden was behind the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream Pipelines.

Norway-Poland gas pipeline opens on same day Nord Stream pipelines attacked

Leaders from Poland, Norway and Denmark have attended a ceremony to mark the opening of the new Baltic Pipe, a key stage in the drive to wean Poland and Europe off Russian gas.

The pipeline will transport natural gas from the Norwegian shelf via Denmark and through the Baltic Sea to Poland. It is the centrepiece of a Polish strategy to diversify away from Russia that began years before Moscow’s February invasion of Ukraine triggered a global energy crisis.

The flows from Norway along with supplies via liquefied gas terminals are central to Poland’s plan. The country was cut off from Russian gas supplies in April, allegedly for refusing to pay in roubles.

Comment: There’s nothing ‘alleged’ about it, those countries that agreed to pay in rubles continued to receive gas.

“The era of Russian domination in the field of gas is coming to an end, the era that was marked by blackmail, threats and extortion,” Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at the inauguration at Budno in western Poland.

Norwegian Energy Minister Terje Aasland said it was “an important step on the important road to Europe’s independence from Russian energy”.

Comment: Officials and experts across the planet have repeatedly stated that there are currently no alternatives to Russian energy, even with this pipeline.

“We must do everything we can to eliminate energy as an instrument of Russian power,” added Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. “Together we will defeat Putin.”

The inauguration came after Danish and Swedish authorities identified several gas leaks on the Russian-operated Nord Stream pipelines, prompting fears of sabotage.

Comment: Western officials are now admitting it was indeed sabotage, and America was involved: BOTH Nord Stream Gas Pipelines Deliberately Ruptured – German Govt Suspects “Sabotage” Caused by “Special Forces Linked to Ukraine”

The Danish system operator Energinet said at the weekend that the Baltic Pipe link could be commissioned at full capacity a month early thanks to good progress on work in Denmark. It brings the planned date forward to the end of November instead of 1 January.

Construction in Denmark had been suspended for nine months for environmental reasons but resumed last March.

Comment: Western governments and transnational corporations don’t care about the environment, so one wonders just what exactly was the reason for the suspension.

“Due to an extraordinary effort on the part of everyone involved, we were able to lay the remaining pipelines faster than expected. Full commissioning can therefore take place ahead of time,” said Torben Brabo, Energinet’s Director of International Relations.

“Baltic Pipe is part of a larger Polish strategy to end dependency on Russian gas flowing through the Yamal pipeline. It was a cornerstone of the plan. The fact that it is being finalised earlier than expected of course comes at a good time, since Poland no longer receives the gas it used to,” Trine Villumsen Berling, senior researcher in global security at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS), told Euronews.

“It was, however, always the Polish plan to stop using Russian gas when the contract with Gazprom ran out by the end of 2022,” she added.

The Polish energy infrastructure minister Mateusz Berger said on Saturday that the completion meant Poland should get double the amount of gas originally expected in the last quarter of the year.

Norway’s Equinor said on Friday it had entered into a 10-year agreement to sell natural gas to Poland’s PGNiG in a deal covering a volume of 2.4 billion cubic metres (bcm) per year, or around 15% of Polish annual consumption. The Baltic Pipe has an annual capacity of 10 bcm.

The contract with Equinor supplements Poland’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply, domestic output and potential imports via interconnectors with its neighbours ahead of the coming winter. PGNiG said in a statement last week that it had secured its gas supply for the winter heating season.

In late August a gas interconnector between Poland and Slovakia came into operation — a key part of the North-South gas infrastructure corridor between the Baltic Sea, the Adriatic and Aegean Seas, the eastern Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea.

“This interconnector will significantly improve the EU’s security of supply and resilience of our energy system,” said European Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson. The EU funded more than €100 million, or about 40% of the project costs.

Comment: For a project that, at the moment, benefits primarily Poland?

Analysts say the new Baltic Pipe should have benefits for countries beyond Poland.

“The Baltic Pipe will also be important for the Baltic States. They can receive gas through the GIPL — Gas Interconnector Poland Lithuania — the same way Poland has received gas from Lithuania since April,” said Trine Villumsen Berling.

“The corridor is also suitable to transfer gas from Poland to the Danish market, further adding to the flexibility and security of energy supply in the region,” the DIIS said an energy assessment published in July.

It highlighted Poland and Lithuania as having been in the forefront of calls for “greater unity within the EU and stronger sanctions on Russian fossil fuels”.

“Although a number of strategic projects in the Polish and Lithuanian energy sectors are coming to fruition today, they are the outcomes of the two states’ long-term strategic visions of energy independence from Moscow’s grip,” the report said.

Comment: As Andrew Korybko noted in his new article The Anglo-American Axis benefits from the ecological terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea:

This terrorist attack destroyed any chance of an energy-driven Russian-German rapprochement, immediately catapulted Poland into the position of being one of the continent’s most pivotal energy hubs, and thus took their plans for dividing and ruling Europe to the next level.

Which may explain the reaction of the former FM and sitting member of the European Parliament:

Biden Regime Fingerprints All Over Sabotage

Resident Joe Biden, Russophobic State Department official Victoria Nuland, and GOP Senator Ron Johnson are all on the record demanding the Nord Stream pipelines be taken out, implying they will use any means necessary to achieve that outcome. Secretary of State Tony Blinken cheered the news of the explosions as “a tremendous opportunity” for Europe “to remove dependence on Russian energy.”

US Navy drills involved underwater explosives removal teams ran drills in the exact area of Bornholm, Denmark, in June 2022 (3 months earlier)

As Sea Power Magazine reported on June 14th, of this year, the US Navy’s 6th Fleet Task Force 68 was running underwater explosives removal drills in the exact area where these sabotage explosions took place. The cover story was that the US Navy needed to conduct “mine hunting experiments” using unmanned underwater drones. From the article:

In support of BALTOPS, U.S. Navy 6th Fleet partnered with U.S. Navy research and warfare centers to bring the latest advancements in unmanned underwater vehicle mine hunting technology to the Baltic Sea to demonstrate the vehicle’s effectiveness in operational scenarios.

Experimentation was conducted off the coast of Bornholm, Denmark, with participants from Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, and Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring all under the direction of U.S. 6th Fleet Task Force 68.

This year experimentation was focused on UUV navigation, teaming operations, and improvements in acoustic communications all while collecting critical environmental data sets to advance the automatic target recognition algorithms for mine detection.

So the ruthless Biden regime publicly threatens to take down the Nord Stream pipelines by any means necessary, then a US Navy fleet task force shows up in the Bornholm area of the Baltic Sea with undersea demolitions experts, and then a couple of months later the Nord Stream pipeline gets blown to pieces, right in the Bornholm area of the Baltic Sea, putting European industry on course for collapse while shoring up western dominance of US industry and dollar currency.

Hmmm…

No wonder the US deep state intelligence services are desperately trying to point the finger at Russia for all this, even though Russia has zero financial incentive to destroy their own pipeline, given that this pipeline is their golden goose for billions of dollars in revenue if Germany were to reject NATO’s stranglehold and make peace with Russia.

Now, instead, there is no possibility of Germany receiving Russian gas for the foreseeable future. That option has been removed from the table thanks to this brazen act of terrorism and sabotage.

Is America’s ruthless regime at war with Europe?

It increasingly appears that the United States of America, currently occupied by an illegitimate, criminal cartel that seized power with the stolen 2020 elections, is at war with Europe. The Nord Stream pipeline sabotage means there won’t be natural gas for Germany this winter, and it points to the near certainty that chemical conglomerate BASF will be forced to shut down operations, most likely before the end of this year.

What very few people realize is that if BASF shuts down, Europe’s industrial sector will collapse.

BASF provides the vast majority of the industrial chemicals needed for fertilizer, oil refining, aerospace, automobile manufacturing, textiles, consumer products, medical supplies and medications, plastics and resins, and much more. Without BASF, European industry cannot function, and without natural gas, BASF cannot function.

As I pointed out in a previous article, BASF’s own spokespeople say they aren’t even sure if BASF chemical plants can ever be restarted if they are shut down, since they’ve never ceased operations since the 1960s:

The situation is so dire that Germany chemical giant BASF — formerly part of the Nazi-run IG Farben chemical conglomerate that carried out war crimes against humanity — is now threatening to shut down operations for industrial plants that have run continuously since the 1960s. As explained by author Philip Oltermann in a UK Guardian article entitled, “How gas rationing at Germany’s BASF plant could plunge Europe into crisis,” BASF is close to shutting down its massive chemical facilities in Germany due to a lack of natural gas. But shutting down production might be permanent, since no one knows if the plants can ever resume operations after a shutdown, since the very act of shutting the system down may break it.

Consider this March, 2022 Reuters article, “BASF says it would stop output if gas supplies fell to half its needs.” That article explains:

Germany’s BASF (BASFn.DE) said on Wednesday it would have to stop production if natural gas supplies fell to less than half its needs, as the world’s largest chemicals group warned of the damage to its operations from Europe’s power crunch.

The destruction of Nord Stream 1 and 2 now guarantees that BASF will be forced offline. This means European industry is over. And that means European banks are going to face widespread insolvency. The very existence of the Euro currency — and the EU itself — is now in question.

By blowing up Nord Stream, the USA has managed to set events into motion that will collapse Western Europe as we know it, transforming a First World continent into a Third World hellhole of starvation, destitution, unemployment and industrial annihilation.

This outcome has already been set in motion and cannot be stopped, since the Nord Stream pipelines cannot be repaired for months or years (there are no official estimates of repair times that have yet been made public, but the situation looks dire). Now, Germany and many other European nations will be forced to buy more high-priced LNG from US exporters, which just happens to shift billions in profits from Russia’s Gazprom to US-based LNG exporters.

Did the Biden regime just sabotage its own European allies in order to protect American industrial and currency dominance?

As covered in this short podcast posted yesterday, financial analyst Tom Luongo believes that the US Federal Reserve is at war with the European Central Bank (ECB) in an effort to collapse the Euro, bankrupt European banks and maintain dollar dominance for years to come (with the Petrodollar status that allows seemingly unlimited money printing by the Fed).

The Fed’s repeated interest rate increases, combined with the war in Ukraine, are causing investors to flee Europe and leap to dollar-denominated instruments such as treasuries. The Fed has already indicated they will continue the rate increases until inflation is tamed, which in a practical sense means they will raise rates until something major breaks on the world finance stage. The first thing to break, it seems, is going to be European banks and potentially the ECB itself. Listen here:

Blowing up Nord Stream pipelines accelerates the demise of the ECB and the Euro, leaving the United States as the dominant industrial and currency powerhouse of the western world. But it also underscores the stunning sense of panic among US Treasury and Fed officials, as they sacrifice their European allies to try to keep the fiat dollar afloat a little while longer, even as national debt approaches $31 trillion and the money printing machine goes into overdrive.

The recent $12+ billion approved for Ukraine is clearly just a coordinated final-stage looting of America’s coffers by the political elite who are fully aware that nearly all the currencies of western nations — including Japan and the United States — are on the brink of collapse.

The world appears to be in a global state of world war right now, and the ruthless occupiers currently running the United States government are willing to plunge 100+ million Europeans into mass starvation, freezing and joblessness in order to buy a little more time for the US currency Ponzi scheme. With friends like Biden, Obama and Nuland, who needs enemies?

As the Biden Regime and its media proxies continue to blame Russian for blowing up the Nord Stream Pipeline with no evidence, the EU countries will have to face the truth and admit that they have been betrayed by their US ally, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channelShe pointed out Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak had said that Russia was ready to supply gas through the undamaged branch of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, TASS reported.

“Will anyone now dare claim after that our country is behind this act of sabotage? I  agree it’s hard to face the truth. But someday the EU countries will have to face up to the fact they were betrayed by their allies,” she said. Russia and Germany must participate in the investigation into the incidents at Nord Stream pipelines, said Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Vershinin on 10/5/2022.

“We are talking about sabotage,” the diplomat said. “An investigation is needed. Certainly, this should be the investigation with Russia’s participation but it would probably be important to involve Germany in this investigation as well, since gas was actually flowing to Germany in the first place,” Vershinin said. Denmark and Sweden have announced they will launch an investigation into the suspected sabotage. Germany and the USA have been unusually silent.

During an interview with US broadcaster Bloomberg on October 2nd, 2022 (shown at end of above segment in Tucker video), US economist Jeffrey Sachs speculated that the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines was the work of the US and possibly Poland. Much to the chagrin of the Bloomberg moderators, who then attempted to change the subject.

Sachs then replied:

“Well, first of all, there is direct radar evidence that US helicopters, military helicopters, which are usually based in Gdansk, were circling over this area. We also had the US threats earlier this year that we will shut down Nord Stream one way or the other. We also have the remarkable declaration of [US-Außenminister Antony] Blinken from last Friday in a press conference, in which he said: ‘This is also a tremendous opportunity.’ I’m sorry, but that’s a strange way to talk when you’re concerned about piracy of vital international infrastructure.”

And he added:

“I know this goes against our narrative and that it’s not legal to say things like that in the West, but the fact of the matter is that when I talk to people around the world, they think it was the US.”
