Popular TV presenter Jill Dando Shot Dead in Fulham, London while investigating BBC Pedophile Ring

Popular TV presenter Jill Dando was shot dead on the doorstep of her home in Fulham, London, on April 26, 1999. Her killing was carried out with a single-gunshot to the head, a hallmark of a professional assassin.

When patsy Barry George was convicted for Dandos’ murder in 2001 we knew he had been stitched up. It was only gut instinct but subsequent events confirmed it when George was cleared of the crime at a 2008 retrial. The case remains unsolved and all we really know is that Dando’s killer operated with a ruthless professionalism, with a assassin style single gunshot to the head.

Meaning that a professional assassin was probably hired for the task.

But who would want Jill Dando dead and why? Given that we now know that Dando was investigating a pedophile ring operating at the highest level of the British establishment the answer seems obvious. Like Princess Diana, another beautiful and principled woman, Jill Dando was seen as a threat by the British establishment and was dealt with accordingly. One source reports that she was actually working on a report for Crimewatch that would expose the ring and name names of several high profile pedophiles involved in the ring.

The friend and retired BBC worker said the late Crimewatch host was told DJs, celebrities and other staff were involved in organized abuse. But the anonymous source says “no one wanted to know” when Miss Dando raised concerns about the alleged ring and other sexual abuse claims at the BBC. “I do remember that she gave a file to senior management. I don’t think she heard any more.” Undeterred, Jill is said to have then raised the claims with senior management in the mid-1990s but no investigation took place. The TV host was shot dead a few years later on the doorstep of her London home. The 37-year-old’s murder remains unsolved.

Her ex-colleague, who asked to remain anonymous, said:

I don’t recall the names of all the stars now and don’t really want to implicate anyone but Jill said they were surprisingly big names. I think she was quite shocked when told about images of children and that information on how to join this horrible pedophile ring was freely available. Jill said others had complained to her about sexual matters and that some fellow female workmates also claimed they had been groped or assaulted. Nothing had been done and there seemed to be a policy of turning a blind eye.”

Miss Dando joined a campaign to help children spot paedophiles the year before she died. She had received death threats, putting the BBC in lock-down, with armed guards patrolling Television Centre in London. Theories about her death range from the culprit being a Serbian warlord angry over her TV appeal on behalf of Kosovan refugees, to British underworld enforcers furious at her Crimewatch investigations. Miss Dando was also looking into the death of her friend, Chelsea vice-chairman Matthew Harding, who was killed in a helicopter crash.
