He is on the boards of the Open Society Foundations, Jewish Funds for Justice, and Global Witness and a major funder of Marxist and leftist organizations (like father, like son). Alexander Soros has created a foundation under his own name which gives awards to activists working to match environmentalism with human rights. He was pictured with future royal bride Megan Markle at a 2013 “spirit cooking event” arranged by Satanist Marina Abramovic.
