Twitter seems intent on helping Parler build its brand and following because every time Twitter cracks down on a conservative account or does something silly and restrictive, it’s now prompting a move to the alternative.
After Twitter began putting warnings/advisories on the account of President Donald Trump and not on the repeated lies from the account of his political opponent Joe Biden, that started it. When Twitter permanently banned the meme maker, Carpe Donktum, with alleged “copyright violations” for videos which he claimed qualified as clear parody, a flood of people signed up for Parler.
Donald Trump, Jr. called it out as a effort to shut influential voices down as the election approached.

“It’s clear @twitter & @jack are engaging in a dedicated campaign to shutdown conservative voices as we get closer to the election,” Trump, Jr. tweeted. “Twitter claiming he violated ‘copyright infringement’ on videos that are public domain or clearly parodies covered by fair use is beyond fraudulent.”
Now the latest person to seemingly get hit with the Twitter hammer is the attorney for Gen. Michael Flynn. Twitter has just restricted her account, official reasons unclear yet.
We’ll have to see how it shakes out but is it coincidental that she’s achieved incredibly important decisions exposing “Obamagate” and the effort to target Gen. Flynn? Critical information about which she has been commenting in the run up to the election, with notes revealing Joe Biden’s involvement in the case against Flynn and the suggestion of the Logan Act coming out.
It’s hard to imagine what she could have said that would have prompted them to restrict a lawyer’s account. I can’t see anything in her recent postings that even approach violating any rules. But then again, they suspended me and refused to re-open my account apparently because I called an Obama official a liar for lying about the need for ventilators. An account that I have for almost ten years with a ton of news contacts wiped out in a flash in March and I still haven’t gotten even a response from them. Powell was going pretty hard at the radical leftists and calling them terrorists, so that might have done it.

Her account, which was restricted sometime yesterday, just got put back up as I write this and she’s letting Twitter have it.
