Taking Back Our Stolen History
Comey, James
Comey, James

Comey, James

a lawyer (deputy AG in Bush admin.) who went to Wm. & Mary and the Univ. of Chicago. Former FBI Director who was fired by Pres. Trump. He has a history of being deeply entrenched in the big-money cronyism culture of Washington, D.C. where his personal and professional relationships have gone undisclosed. Comey served on the board of directors of the infamous bank, HSBC, an international drug money clearing house closely connected to the Clinton Foundation. He let Sandy Berger, the Clinton private courier, off with a hand-slap for stealing and destroying classified documents from the National Archives that connected the Clinton’s to the 9/11 cover up. The double felon General Patraeus was also adjudicated and, of course, there was the Hillary Clinton email scandal where members of the Senate Judiciary Committee allege Comey made the decision months before FBI agents were finished with the criminal investigation into her mishandling of classified information during her time as secretary of state. Comey earned $6M as VP and general council for defense contractor Lockheed Martin in their first year (2010) as a Clinton Foundation donor, a year in which they were awarded 17 private defense contracts from Clinton’s State Dept..

Former FBI director James Comey has a long and telling career; telling much about his rise to FBI director.  Although Comey speaks stoically about following the “rule of law”, and “following in the spirit of our founding fathers”, he has shown time and again that his actions speak louder than his words. Comey made notes of his confidential and classified communications with the President, then leaked those to the New York Times through his friend at Columbia University.  Comey admitted to Congress that he leaked information to the New York Times in hopes that it would prompt the appointment of a special counsel.

Remarkably, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein named his friend Robert Mueller as Special Counsel the very next day.  Comey is now implicated in the egregious politicization of the FBI, “white-washing’ Clinton’s crimes, the phony FISA applications, and other wrong-doing at the FBI for which he is now under investigation by the Inspector General of the Department of Justice.  Meanwhile, in the height of narcissism, Mr. Comey went on his book tour, painting himself as a paragon of virtue, while his recently released memos make clear he is a liar and sought to undermine President Trump from the get-go.1

According to the DOJ’s IG report on James Comey, Comey leaked his memos to his friend who he later described as his lawyer which protected him by implementing attorney-client privilege. This protected Comey from the crime of leaking information to the press unlawfully. But Comey was also protected by his fellow gangsters at the FBI when then labeled the memos that he leaked, other than classified.  If they were labeled classified Comey would be in serious trouble for leaking classified information. The FBI isn’t supposed to let on that there are any active investigations, let alone leak “evidence” from their investigations.1 In September 2019, Horowitz revealed to lawmakers that he criminally referred former FBI Director James Comey for prosecution. The Justice Department ultimately declined prosecution and despite Comey bragging about this, the IG indeed concluded he criminally acted.

Marc Rich Pardon Case

In 2002 as a federal prosecutor, Comey took over an investigation into President Bill Clinton’s 2001 pardon of financier Marc Rich who was on the lam. Rich was a former hedge-fund manager who had been indicted on multiple counts of tax evasion, wire fraud and racketeering.  Rich at the time of the pardon was a international fugitive who fled to Switzerland.  Astoundingly James Comey was the prosecutor in the case against Rich.  Then in 2002 he took over the investigation of Clinton’s pardon of the fugitive.  There was plenty to investigate and none of it good for Clinton.  After Rich’s wife contributed $450,000 to the Clinton library fund and $70,000 to Hillary’s Senate campaign the wheels were greased enough to get the pardon put before President Clinton without going through the DOJ review process.  After Rich kicked in another million dollars the pardon was set.  Again, where was Comey’s rule of law?  Was this his interpretation of how the founding fathers intended justice to be carried out?  These issues alone should have caused a conflict of interest and prevented Comey from his FBI position.

HSBC Holdings

In 2013, Comey became a board member, a director, and a Financial System Vulnerabilities Committee member of the London bank HSBC Holdings – noted as the world’s most corrupt bank. In 2012 HSBC was fined $1.9 billion for laundering drug money and violating U.S. sanctions against Iran.  In 2015 it paid Swiss authorities $43 million to settle allegations that it helped the global elite illegally dodge taxes.  Yet no one went to jail for this drug-related mega-crime. The $1.9 billion fine was sold by Comey to Loretta Lynch, our Attorney General at the time.  Lynch used the “deferred prosecutions” under which criminal charges against a firm are set aside in lieu of a fine.

So less than one year after HSBC is hit with the $1.9 billion fine, and after HSBC is found to be the most corrupt bank in the world, James Comey joins the board of directors at the recommendation of Barrack Obama. How much he paid for helping the HSBC criminals avoid jail? In less than a year after that, Comey is tapped by Obama to head the FBI.

The Clinton Foundation received up to $81 million from clients of HSBC; HSBC was involved in the British Libor scandal while Comey was at the FBI. [21st Century Wire]; and HSBC laundered countless billions of dollars for the international drug and narcotic trafficking cartels. Comey started to make important connections in both the Democratic/Republican parties early in his career. Under Bush Jr, Comey was the deputy AG in the Justice Department during the false flags of 9/11. There, Comey dealt with Bill Clinton’s private courier, Sandy Berger J.D., the moron who stole the classified papers in 2004 from the National Archives in order to conceal the Clinton Administration’s cover-up of 9/11 involvement. Sandy tore up the classified paper knowing fully well that his actions constituted a felony of the highest order.  Yet, once again, Comey allowed the potential felon to escape on a ‘misdemeanor’ charge and serve only 100 hours of civil service in order to avoid prison sentencing.

The former FBI Director Comey had direct and indirect access to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundations. Comey, Sandy Berger, Loretta Lynch [AG] and Cheryl Mills [Hillary’s Chief of Staff], all worked for the prestigious Washington DC law firm: Hogan & Hartson. Clinton’s tax returns were prepared by this law firm. Even more interesting, this law firm also did the patent work for a software company that played a major role in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. Remember Denver-based MX Logic Inc.? That was the same software company that developed the email encryption system that managed Clinton’s email beginning in July 2013.

Comey also let a corrupt accounting firm avoid felony charges for developing criminal tax shelters. Steve Pieczenik had encountered this ignoble accounting firm, KPMG, when they were destroying S&L’s in the 1980’s such as the Maryland Savings and Loan. Remember that this crisis was started by the infamous Bush Family with Neil Bush’s Silverado Bank in Colorado.

Clinton Email cover up

In July 2016 Comey came under fire for giving Hillary Clinton a pass explaining there “was no intent.”  His decision not to prosecute Clinton even though she was in fact guilty was  generous if not curiously suspicious.   Mr. Trump was severely disappointed in Comey’s decision.

“I know that inside the FBI there is a revolt,” former independent counsel and U.S. attorney Joseph diGenova told The American Spectator (Oct 2016). “There is a revolt against the director. The people inside the bureau believe the director is a dirty cop. They believe that he threw the [Hillary Clinton email] case. They do not know what he was promised in return. But the people inside the bureau who were involved in the case and who knew about the case are talking to former FBI people expressing their disgust at the conduct of the director.”

The loss of faith in the bureau chief stems in part from a dishonest rendering of the decision not to indict Mrs. Clinton as unanimous rather than unilateral and in part from the bureau’s decision to destroy evidence in the case and grant blanket immunity to Clinton underlings for no possible prosecutorial purpose. “There is a consensus among the employees that the director has lost all credibility and that he cannot lead the bureau,” diGenova explains. “They are comparing him to L. Patrick Gray, the disgraced former FBI director who threw Watergate papers into the Potomac River. The resistance to the director has made the agency incapable of action. It has been described to me as a depression within the agency unlike anything that anyone has ever seen within the bureau. The director’s public explanation for the unorthodox investigation are viewed by people in the bureau as sophomoric and embarrassing.”

“When the director said that it was a unanimous decision not to recommend prosecution, that was a lie,” diGenova points out. “In fact, the people involved in the case were outraged at his decision, which he made by himself. When people realized that he was lying publicly about their role and when they knew he had approved of the destruction of laptops that were subject to congressional subpoena, that flipped the switch.”

As revealed by Sens. Charles Grassley and Lindsey Graham of the Senate Judiciary Committee and reported by Katie Pavlich of Townhall:

“‘According to unredacted portions of the transcripts, it appears that in April or May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents had finished their work. Mr. Comey even circulated an early draft statement to select members of senior FBI leadership. The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts,’ the letter, signed by Chairman Chuck Grassley and Committee member Lindsey Graham states. ‘Conclusion first, fact-gathering second – that’s no way to run an investigation. The FBI should be held to a higher standard that that, especially in a matter of such great public interest and controversy.’

“According to the letter and an ongoing investigation into the matter, Comey started drafting a statement exonerating Clinton in April or May of 2016. At this point, he had not interviewed Clinton herself or her closest aides. This included Bryan Pagliano, who set up the personal server where Clinton hosted and shared top secret information, and Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, who was granted immunity. On July 5, 2016, Comey made his public statement that the FBI would not be referring Clinton to the Department of Justice for prosecution.”

Critics of the FBI and the broader handling of the case by the Justice Department remain skeptical over investigators’ ostensible belief in Clinton’s claim that she “lost” 13 Blackberry devices and did not understand that documents marked “C” meant confidential. Decisions to grant Clinton aide Cheryl Mills attorney-client privilege in a case involving her, to destroy her laptop and with it any evidence desired by Congress, and to limit the investigation’s search to documents from before January 31, 2015 to obstruct any possible obstruction of justice case against Mills also similarly baffled. Direct evidence of Clinton hiding public business on a private server (and thereby making it easier for enemy governments to see what the American government could not) and “bleaching” her hard drive after the story became public presented the FBI clear evidence of wrongdoing. But authorities sought to protect rather than prosecute the malefactors.

“The director’s public explanation for the unorthodox investigation are viewed by people in the bureau as sophomoric and embarrassing,” diGenova notes. “The people in the bureau anticipate that there will be subpoenas for their testimony. Comey in a telephone conference with special agents in charge around the country, within the last few days, warned that if they received a phone inquiry about the investigation, or any inquiry about the investigation, they were ordered to report the call and the caller to the director’s office.”

Comey not only violated his oath of office, he obstructed justice. While President Trump did not obstruct justice by firing his FBI director, clearly and ironically the opposite is true.

Double Standard & Torture

When Comey prosecuted Martha Stewart he stated “Martha Stewart is being prosecuted not for who she is, but for what she did.”   I could say that Comey didn’t prosecute Hillary Clinton because of who she is, not what she did or didn’t do.  Another departure from the rule of law was his 2005 endorsement of a memorandum approving the use of enhanced interrogation techniques including waterboarding and sleep deprivation for up to 180 hours.  In his CNN propaganda piece on the 25th of April 2018, Comey claimed he was against torture. In a 2014 60 Minutes interview that Comey did a year after he joined the FBI, the questions and answers almost seemed rehearsed for maximum Comey benefit just like the CNN Town Hall interview of softball questions for the career criminal.

He spoke many times of his unfailing philosophy of rule of law and upholding the Constitution even if it meant disagreeing with the president.  He spoke majestically of schooling the new FBI cadets of when the FBI, in the 1960’s, broke all kinds of laws in their obsessive campaign to ruin Martin Luther King Jr. at any cost.  He swore up and down that his FBI does not engage in warrant-less phone tapping or surveillance without a court order.  He went so far as to say “I believe that Americans should be deeply skeptical of government power.  You cannot trust people in power.  The founding fathers knew that.  This is what I have believed my whole life…in the rule of law and the design of the founders.” Sounds wonderful.  Yet we have his actions in reality to weigh against his rhetoric. Our founding fathers fled England to escape brutality and unjust laws.  As we can clearly see James Comey’s high standards of ethics are far removed from reality.

Lockheed Martin

In 2005 Comey joined Lockheed Martin as senior vice president and general counsel.  Lockheed Martin is the world’s biggest government defense contractor in global aerospace, defense, and security raking in $36.2 billion in 2015.  Lockheed has also committed more fraud than any other contractor. In the 5 years that James Comey acted as Lockheed’s general council and senior vice president, Lockheed had been caught in these cases.

In January 2005 Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control agreed to pay $1.4 million to resolve allegations of falsely charging the U.S. Army in connection with its production and support contracts for the Multiple Launch Rocket System. In 2007 Lockheed agreed to repay the federal government $265 million plus interest in connection with overbilling for work on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The company called the over billing “inadvertent.”A February 2008 U.S. Government Accountability Office report singled out Lockheed’s F-22A fighter plane in a review of weapons systems plagued by large cost overruns, delays and quality problems. (The following year the Senate voted to terminate the F-22 program.) In June 2008 the Project On Government Oversight made public a 2007 report by the Defense Contract Management Agency that found Lockheed failed to follow 19 of 32 Pentagon guidelines on tracking and managing costs on major weapons programs. In August 2008 Lockheed agreed to pay $4 million to settle charges that it failed to get permission to sell missiles to the United Arab Emirates and that the company revealed classified information during negotiations with the Persian Gulf nation. In 2009 the Pentagon said that Lockheed would have to pay part of the huge cost overruns on the delay-ridden F-35 fighter jet project. In December 2010 Lockheed agreed to pay $10.28 million to resolve federal charges that it over billed the Air Force and the Navy for the C-27J tactical aircraft. Comey left Lockheed in 2010 but not before convincing Lockheed to become a Clinton Foundation donor and a Clinton Global Initiative member. In 2010 Lockheed won 17 approvals for private contracts from Hillary Clinton’s State Department.

When President Obama nominated Comey to become FBI director in 2013, Comey promised the United States Senate that he would recuse himself on all cases involving former employers. But Comey earned $6 million in one year alone from Lockheed Martin, the very same year that Lockheed Martin became a Clinton Foundation donor. Comey served as deputy attorney general under John Ashcroft for two years of the Bush administration. When he left the Bush administration, he went directly to Lockheed Martin and became VP, acting as a general counsel. According to records, Lockheed Martin is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, which paid Bill Clinton $250,000 to deliver a speech in 2010.

Who Is Peter Comey?

When a Breitbart News source called the Chinatown offices of D.C. law firm DLA Piper and asked for “Peter Comey,” a receptionist immediately put him through to Comey’s direct line. But Peter Comey is not featured on the DLA Piper website. Peter Comey serves as “Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas” for DLA Piper. James Comey was not questioned about his relationship with Peter Comey in his confirmation hearing. DLA Piper is the firm that performed the independent audit of the Clinton Foundation in November during Clinton-World’s first big push to put the email scandal behind them. DLA Piper’s employees taken as a whole represent a major Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign donation bloc and Clinton Foundation donation base.

DLA Piper ranks #5 on Hillary Clinton’s all-time career Top Contributors list, just ahead of Goldman Sachs. And here is another thing: Peter Comey has a mortgage on his house that is owned by his brother James Comey, the FBI director. Peter Comey’s financial records, obtained by Breitbart News, show that he bought a $950,000 house in Vienna, Virginia, in June 2008. He needed a $712,500 mortgage from First Savings Mortgage Corporation. But on January 31, 2011, James Comey and his wife stepped in to become Private Party lenders. They granted a mortgage on the house for $711,000. Financial records suggest that Peter Comey took out two such mortgages from his brother that day.

This financial relationship between the Comey brothers began prior to James Comey’s nomination to become director of the FBI. DLA Piper did not answer Breitbart News’ question as to whether James Comey and Peter Comey spoke at any point about this mortgage or anything else during the Clinton email investigation.

Peter Comey Re-Designed the FBI Building

FBI Director James Comey grew up in the New Jersey suburbs with his brother Peter. Both Comeys were briefly taken captive in 1977 by the “Ramsey rapist,” but the boys managed to escape through a window in their home, and neither boy was harmed. James Comey became a prosecutor who worked on the Gambino crime family case. He went on to the Bush administration, a handful of private sector jobs, and then the Obama administration in 2013. Peter Comey, meanwhile, went into construction.

After getting an MBA in real estate and urban development from George Washington University in 1998, Peter Comey became an executive at a company that re-designed George Washington University between 2004 and 2007 while his brother was in town working for the Bush administration.

In January 2009, at the beginning of the Obama administration, Peter Comey became “a real estate and construction consultant” for Procon Consulting. Procon Consulting’s client list includes “FBI Headquarters Washington, DC.” So what did Procon Consulting do for FBI Headquarters? Quite a bit, apparently. According to the firm’s records:

Procon provided strategic project management for the consolidation of over 11,000 FBI personnel into one, high security, facility.

Since 1972 the Federal Bureau of Investigation has had its headquarters in a purpose built 2.1 million square foot building on Pennsylvania Avenue. Having become functionally obsolete and in need of major repairs, GSA and the FBI were considering ways to meet the space needs required to maintain the Bureau’s mission and consolidate over 11,000 personnel.

Procon assisted GSA in assessing the FBI’s space needs and options for fulfilling those needs. Services provided included project management related to site evaluations, budgeting, due diligence, and the development of procurement and funding strategies.

Those “funding strategies” included talking to “stakeholders”: “Worked with stakeholders and key leadership to identify strategic objectives, goals and long range plans for capital and real estate projects.” Procon Consulting obtained its contract for FBI Headquarters prior to James Comey’s nomination to serve as director of the FBI.

In June 2011, Peter Comey left Procon Consulting to become “Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas” for DLA Piper. Peter Comey has generated some controversy in that role. According to Law360 in May 2013 (the same month that James Comey was confirmed as someone being considered by Obama to become FBI director):

Two real estate services businesses filed a $10 million suit against the law firm Monday alleging it stiffed them on as much as $760,000 of work done at DLA Piper’s Chicago office and improperly gave proprietary information to a competitor.

….

The plaintiffs take particular aim at Peter Comey, DLA Piper’s senior director of real estate operations. Leasecorp and SpaceLogik include several emails in the complaint that are purportedly from DLA Piper senior real estate partners Jay Epstein and Rich Klawiter and are sharply critical of Comey’s handling of the matter. In one email, Epstein wrote that “it’s an embarrassment for the firm to be treating someone who we are working with like this.”

In another email allegedly from Klawiter on Feb. 20, the DLA Piper partner informed Leasecorp President Michael Walker, a principal for both plaintiffs, that Comey had sent him and Epstein an email claiming that the real estate services firms were behind on their contractual obligations.

“I just received an email from Peter (Jay was also a recipient) that is so inflammatory I can’t even send it or you’ll hit the roof,” Klawiter said in the email, according to the complaint. “This is not going to end well.”
