Taking Back Our Stolen History
Feinstein, Dianne
Feinstein, Dianne

Feinstein, Dianne

(born June 22, 1933) Senior US Senator (D) from California who served as Chairwoman and Ranking Democrat of the Senate Intelligence and Judiciary committees and is a key figure in the RussiaGate investigations, wittingly or unwittingly colluded with Chinese intelligence for 20 years. Feinstein argued, “there is no deep state,” amid allegations (now fact) of FBI political corruption. In 1955 while a student at Stanford, Feinstein personally hosted a delegation from the Soviet Writers Union when they toured the campus. As mayor of San Francisco, Feinstein issued an official city proclamation in support of the World Festival of Youth and Students, held in Moscow. The event was organized by the Soviet-controlled World Federation of Democratic Youth and was supported by the Communist Party USA in 1986.

Her third husband and spouse of more than 40 years, Richard Blum, died of lung cancer at the age of 86. She has one child from her first marriage that ended in divorce after 3 years. The two made MILLIONS off of their financial interests in China, which ballooned after Feinstein was elected to the Senate in 1992.

Feinstein traveled to Moscow that same year as part of a trade delegation of 450 U.S. businessmen and public officials. A little over a year later, on Jan. 27, 1987, Soviet Consul General Valentin Kamenev presented Feinstein with a Soviet streetcar: “A streetcar named desire.” Also present at the ceremony was Viktor Zhelezny, deputy chief of public transport for the Russian Republic. In 1990, a young woman was raped by a foreign Feinstein money-backer at a $4,700-a-plate Dianne Feinstein fundraiser.

Dianne Feinstein’s career in liberal politics began when Governor Pat Brown appointed her to the California Women’s Board of Terms and Parole. She would go on to get elected to the San Francisco County Board of Supervisors. Feinstein became Mayor of San Francisco in 1978 upon the assassination of Mayor George Moscone. She was elected in 1979 and then reelected in 1983. In 1984, Democrat presidential candidate Walter Mondale seriously considered her for vice president, but passed her over for Geraldine Ferraro. In 1990, Feinstein made an unsuccessful bid for Governor of California, losing to Republican Senator Pete Wilson. However, she did win his Senate seat in a special election and has been reelected three times. When coming into office Feinstein distanced herself from the Clinton administration. She voted against the North American Free Trade Agreement and opposed the 1993 Clinton Health Care Plan. Feinstein was re-elected in 1994 by a 47%-45% margin, in what was one of the most closely watched elections that year.

Feinstein is currently the Chairman of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee. She endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in June 2007 and later pushed her for the vice presidential nomination. Dianne Feinstein was mentioned as a possible candidate for Governor of California again in 2010, however, in February 2010, she announced she would not be running for Governor.

Feinstein supported the Iraq war resolution in the vote of October 11, 2002 but has said she was misled by the President. She is also strongly opposed to 2nd amendment rights, one of her first accomplishments in the Senate was passing an assault weapons ban and she unsuccessfully sponsored legislation that would require licensing of all guns. While she is not considered a conservative, Feinstein is considered more moderate than most Democrats from the San Francisco Bay Area. Feinstein supports the USA PATRIOT Act saying it helps the “protection of the American people.” She supported the Bush tax cuts in 2001 and supported the GOP’s Medicare prescription-drug bill in 2003. She is also a supporter of capital punishment and was the main Democratic sponsor of the 2006 constitutional flag burning amendment.

On other issues Dianne Feinstein is quite liberal. She has a solidly pro-abortion voting record. Feinstein called Guantanamo Bay detention camp a “failed experiment” and believes it should be shut down.

Corruption issues

After Feinstein’s unsuccessful gubernatorial race in 1990, she was fined $190,000 for failure to properly report campaign contributions. In 2003, Feinstein was ranked the fifth wealthiest senator, with an estimated net worth of $26 million. By 2005 her net worth had increased up to $99 million. Her 347-page financial disclosure statement draws clear lines between her assets and those of her husband, with many of her assets in blind trusts.

In January 2009, the issue was raised whether Feinstein violated Senate ethics rules to avoid appearances of conflicts of interest when she introduced legislation that gave $25 billion to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. to help finance an FDIC proposal to avoid home foreclosures by promoting loan workouts and increasing federal loan guarantees. Just before the FDIC had signed a contract with CBRE, her husband’s firm, to unload foreclosed properties for prices higher than industry averages. Spokesmen for the FDIC, Feinstein and CBRE said there was no connection between the legislation and the contract and that the couple didn’t know about CBRE’s business with FDIC until after it was awarded.

Buried eight paragraphs into a 2018 Politico exposé on foreign efforts to infiltrate Silicon Valley, is a story that involves China and the senior U.S. senator from California, and former chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Democrat Dianne Feinstein:

Former intelligence officials…[said] Chinese intelligence once recruited a staff member at a California office of U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, and the source reported back to China about local politics. (A spokesperson for Feinstein said the office doesn’t comment on personnel matters or investigations, but noted that no Feinstein staffer in California has ever had a security clearance.)

Later comes additional detail:

According to four former intelligence officials, in the 2000s, a staffer in Senator Dianne Feinstein’s San Francisco field office was reporting back to the MSS [China’s Ministry of State Security, its intelligence and security apparatus]. While this person, who was a liaison to the local Chinese community, was fired, charges were never filed against him. (One former official reasoned this was because the staffer was providing political intelligence and not classified information—making prosecution far more difficult.) The suspected informant was ‘run’ by officials based at China’s San Francisco Consulate, said another former intelligence official. The spy’s handler ‘probably got an award back in China’ for his work, noted this former official, dryly.

In 2013, the FBI approached the senator to apprise her that her office director, Russell Lowe, was being investigated under suspicion of spying for China. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Feinstein’s hometown paper, this staffer, who had worked with Feinstein for almost 20 years, drove her around in San Francisco and “served as gofer in her San Francisco office and as a liaison to the Asian American community, even attending Chinese Consulate functions for the senator.”  Lowe “has deep and ongoing involvement with pro-China communist activists and organizations”.1

In early August 2020, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures. Bartiromo asked Pompeo about Senator Feinstein’s office director / driver following Feinstein’s recent pro-China comments. Pompeo then dropped a bomb on Feinstein.

Mike Pompeo: Maria I saw the statement by Senator Feinstein, I found it perplexing. I saw statements of senior American CEOs from the big tech companies this week saying they hadn’t heard or seen about intellectual property theft from the United States. That’s crazy talk. Here’s the good news. The good news is we’re getting nearly every member of Congress aligned along the administration’s policies with China. When we voted for Hong Kong freedom there were over 400 votes in the House and nearly every vote in the Senate… I think the tide is turning. Not only in the United States but all across the world the threat of the Chinese Communist Party is becoming clearer and clearer… I talked at the Nixon Library about this not being a battle about China but about authoritarianism and freedom. That’s the fight America needs to be engaged on…

Maria Bartiromo: I was struck by Dianne Feinstein because didn’t she have a driver for 20 years that we ended up finding out was a Chinese spy?

Mike Pompeo: We did. You’ll recall, she meets with some frequency with Foreign Minister Zarif (Iran’s Foreign Minister) there too. There’s something not quite right. And this is not consistent with America’s national security in either case. These are adversaries that intend harm for her state of California and I wish she would not engage in this kind of rhetoric and these kind of meetings that undermine these kind of efforts.

As Mayor

Tesla: 45500 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538 & Solyndra: 47488 Kato Road, Fremont, CA, 94538 Feinstein’s ex-staff & lobbyists work there now. She opened both plants and lobbied them into existence in that location. All that taxpayer money went to those two lots yet hundreds of other applicants were “killed off”: COINCIDENCE?

When she was mayor of San Francisco, the San Francisco newspapers were rife with charges of corruption and cronyism about her. Her associate, Roger Boas, went to federal prison for corruption in City Hall AND for child prostitutes. Police reports show that he used child prostitutes plus sent prostitutes out to buy favors for City Hall corrupt winner/loser rigged selections.

She personally interceded in getting Solyndra funded from taxpayer dollars and getting them to build the Solyndra buildings where it benefited her husbands business connections. Her Family made profits off of Solyndra getting picked as a DOE funding “winner”.

She personally interceded in getting Tesla funded from taxpayer dollars, and getting them to acquire buildings (physically next to Solyndra in the boondocks of Fremont, California) and equipment where it benefited her husbands business connections. Her Family made profits off of Tesla getting picked as a DOE funding “winner”.

Guardian staff report that her husband has made multiple trips to Mongolia transporting cash for deals and later held business interests there on mining companies that make materials for electric car batteries and other interests that she fought for bill or budget passage on. They have airport records, travel expense reports and photographs of him in Mongolia meeting with sketchy Chinese and Asian Business men. They state that he took suitcases full of cash to Mongolia. Why did Feinstein not properly document this in her disclosures? What intelligence did Blum get near, or to, China?

Richard Blum got a group of Silicon Valley VC’s to buy votes, get out the vote for her and push votes to get her on Committee when she was hanging by a thread from previous near-catches of their misdeeds according to a former reporter from ValleyWag.

Feinstein wrote laws regarding the Regents of California which benefited her husband.

If you web search their names and “Corruption” or “Crony” you will find a vast number of stories about all kinds of kickbacks that the Feinstein/Blums have been charged with.

When you chart out all of the front companies, fake family trusts under other trusts, Blum offshore accounts in Belize, The Caymans and other interesting places, companies behind other companies between her and Mr. Blum, you have a facade of misdirection and phoney business names that would make any spy envious. Feinstein’s bills and budgets tie back to more false front organizations that benefit her family interests than almost any other person in the Senate per the latest research from The Guardian.

If you were someone like that you would certainly try to get yourself on the intelligence committee so you could have the first clue when you were about to get caught and to steer investigations away from your crony deals. Of course she is fighting on behalf of ongoing domestic spying. It is how she covers her ass.

Now Feinstein is trying to cover her tracks and act like she thinks spying on American’s who were trying to end cronyism was “unacceptable”. Don’t buy her sudden change of tone. It is all a cover, just like all of her husbands vast network of cover organizations and secret VC kickback networks. If you want to do really big crimes in Washington, you get Feinstein to watch the databases to make sure nobody gets wind of it. It is like the one bank robber that sits in the car to listen to the police scanner during the bank robbery. – Glenn Greenwald

Here is a teeny, tiny selection of the many corruption charges against Feinstein:
