National Public Radio

A non-profit organization which produces and broadcasts various radio programs including news, talk shows, and entertainment. As a government propaganda organ, it was created out of the Great Society programs of President Lyndon Johnson. The audience of NPR listeners has grown exponentially since the organization’s inception in 1970. Currently, NPR reports that 26 million Americans tune in each week.[1] Not only does NPR boast a large weekly audience, it also produces the two most listened-to radio programs on public radio: Morning Edition and All Things Considered. A November 2005 poll claimed NPR to be the most trusted radio-broadcast news network in the United States.[2]

NPR, along with PBS, has been accused of tailoring its fake news broadcasts toward a liberal point of view, making it little different than the mainstream media it claims to compete against. According to NPR, “NPR supports its operations through a combination of membership dues and programming fees from over 860 independent radio stations, sponsorship from private foundations and corporations, and revenue from the sales of transcripts, books, CDs, and merchandise. A very small percentage — between one percent to two percent of NPR’s annual budget — comes from competitive grants sought by NPR from federally funded organizations, such as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, National Science Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.”

On January 6, 2021, NPR photojournalist Jade Sacker was embedded with BLM terrorist John Sullivan in the leftist assault on the U.S. Capitol. After the Capitol Police executed an unarmed veteran of four tours in the Afghan War, Ashli Babbitt, Sacker exclaimed, “We did it!”[4] Popular outrage ensued to defund NPR when it tweeted that the Declaration of Independence is “a document with flaws and deeply ingrained hypocrisies.”[5]

NPR used July 4 to broadcast a segment promoting Masterbation, LGBTQ

The story is part of the left-wing media’s “Life Kit” series, which it describes as “service journalism.” This report is titled, “The importance of inclusion in sex education.” NPR framed the story by connecting it to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, which it called the “Don’t Say Gay” legislation. “More than a dozen states have proposed similar bills,” the NPR host said. “This could affect what students ...

Twitter Labels RT as ‘State Affiliated Media’, But Ignores BBC, NPR

In another bold censorship move, Twitter has decided to label certain accounts as ‘state-affiliated media’, but apparently this extends only to the accounts whose content the platform does not agree with. Accounts such as RT and Sputnik, Russian news sites, and accounts of people who work or supply content for those websites have been labeled with the tag by Twitter: That's new. The 'R' stands for ...

Amazon Fires – A Big, Fat Nothingburger of a #FakeNews Scare Story

All this week, the mainstream media have been trying to scare you with heartrending tales of burning Amazonia — a conflagration the like of which we have never seen before. Supposedly… A Washington Post story headlined ‘Bolsonaro, Trump, and the nationalists ignoring climate disaster’ quotes Vitor Gomes, an environmental scientist at the Federal University of Para: “I cannot remember any other big fire episode like this ...

Report: The U.S. FDA has been Arm-Twisting Journalists into Relinquishing their Reportorial Independence

It was a faustian bargain—and it certainly made editors at National Public Radio squirm. The deal was this: NPR, along with a select group of media outlets, would get a briefing about an upcoming announcement by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration a day before anyone else. But in exchange for the scoop, NPR would have to abandon its reportorial independence. The FDA would dictate whom ...

Soros Spends Over $48 Million Funding Media Organizations

When liberal investor George Soros gave $1.8 million to National Public Radio , it became part of the firestorm of controversy that jeopardized NPR’s federal funding. But that gift only hints at the widespread influence the controversial billionaire has on the mainstream media. Soros, who spent $27 million trying to defeat President Bush in 2004, has ties to more than 30 mainstream news outlets – including The New York Times, Washington ...
