Washington Post

Washington Post

A fake news, propaganda newspaper with a strong left-wing bias published in the United States and founded in 1877. In 2013 the Washington Post was acquired by Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon. That same year, Amazon also obtained a CIA contract worth $600 million, at least twice what Bezos paid for the Post. The Washington Post is noted for its fake news and attempts at voter suppression, claiming that incumbent President Donald J. Trump was 17 points behind radical Democrat challenger Joe Biden just days before the 2020 presidential election in an attempt to demoralize Trump supporters to not even show up at the polls.[2]

The Institute for Public Accuracy released a statement condemning the CIA / Amazon contract:

When the main shareholder in one of the very largest corporations in the world benefits from a massive contract with the CIA on the one hand, and that same billionaire owns the Washington Post on the other hand, there are serious problems. The Post is unquestionably the political paper of record in the United States, and how it covers governance sets the agenda for the balance of the news media. Citizens need to know about this conflict of interest in the columns of the Post itself.

Together with the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, the Washington Post has a long established position as a guardian of the official narrative. The US Deep state chose two Washington Post journalists (Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein) to carry out the corporate media side of the Watergate coup.

History of WaPo fake news reporting

In the Kavanaugh smear, false sexual abuse allegations were leaked by Senate Democrat committee staffers to produce sensationalized headlines and martial public pressure in an emotional cause.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein or a staffer leaked a letter from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford to the Washington Post alleging notes from a therapist and a polygraph exam were material evidence of a sexual assault, sparking a hue and cry on the Left for extended nomination hearings and FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh. The alleged “material evidence” was never provided to the FBI or Senate Judiciary Committee for examination and consideration, and the accuser caught in a series of conflicting sworn public statements.

In a rare turn of events, WaPo actually did publish a correction, albeit without an apology.

  • In 1981, Janet Cooke, a reporter hired by Ben Bradlee, described in a series of articles entitled Jimmy’s World the profile of an eight-year old heroin addict. Cooke was nominated by Bob Woodward for the Pulitzer Prize, which she won after it was established that the story was a complete fiction. Post Ombudsman Bill Green concluded an investigation with several comments and recommendations, including “The scramble for journalistic prizes is poisonous. The obligation is to inform readers, not to collect frameable certificates, however prestigious.” [1] The Ombudsman said of Bradlee, “Ensuring accuracy was the editor’s job, and he had failed miserably.” Woodward said of his nomination for the Pulitzer Prize, “It would be absurd for me or any other editor to review the authenticity or accuracy of stories that are nominated for prizes.”
  • In 1998 the Post printed a series of denials regarding public leaks of depositions given by President Clinton in the Jones v. Clinton case contrary to an Order of the Court. Dr. Deni Elliot of the Practical Ethics Center after reviewing the matter concluded the Washington Post knew the source of the illegal leaks yet “knowingly deceived its readers” by alleging the leaks could have come from the Court or the opposing counsels office. Dr. Elliot wrote in the Organization of News Ombudsmen’s publication, “The Post intentionally lied to its readers in printing this set of denials”, and “None of this sounds like the making of ethical principles”.[17]
  • A poorly-sourced February 4, 2017 Washington Post article claimed a feud existed between DHS Secretary John F. Kelly and Steve Bannon, when in fact, none existed. The article’s author was forced to admit his error.[18] In June 2017, the Associated Press reported, and later corrected, a story that EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt met with Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris – something which did not actually happen.[19]
  • The Washington Post published a fake news story that Russia hacked the U.S. power grid in 2016.[20]
  • The Washington Post reported in June 2017 of a meeting held between President Trump and Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai that never occurred.[21]
  • Washington Post article claimed that 4.2 percent of American children had witnessed a shooting[22] (this is one in 24). This was based on a survey question which they (deliberately? negligently?) misinterpreted: ‘The actual question the researchers asked was, “At any time in (your child’s/your) life, (was your child/were you) in any place in real life where (he/she/you) could see or hear people being shot, bombs going off, or street riots?”[23] So they mixed in “witnessed a shooting” with “heard a street riot”, etc.’
  • In November 2017, The Washington Post claimed that the conservative Breitbart News created the nickname “Mr. Perfect” when referring to Jared Kushner, while in reality, Kushner’s own companies created the nickname to promote themselves in China.[24] Also in November 2017, MSNBC’s Morning Joe show was caught broadcasting a pre-taped post-Thanksgiving show while pretending on air to be broadcasting live.[25]
  • In November 2017, an allegedly unbiased Washington Post reporter was caught giving strategic advice to Democrats at a major conference.[26][27]
  • After Special Counsel Robert Mueller thoroughly debunked the Russiagate conspiracy theory, CNN’s Jim Sciutto attempted to resuscitate the discredited hoax alleging that the CIA had to extract a deep cover asset from Russia because of fear that President Trump would out the asset’s identity to Vladimir Putin. The New York TimesWashington Post, and CIA were quick to refute the story. The extraction occurred because of John Brennan and Obama administration leaks in the early days of the Trump-Russia hoax that put in danger of exposure and the lives of CIA assets in Russia.[28][29][30][31][32]
  • In the Immanuel Christian School/Karen Pence hate crime hoax, a 12-year-old girl claimed that three boys at Immanuel Christian School held her down and cut her dreadlocks while using the racially charged term “nappy.” The wife of Vice President Mike Pence, Karen Pence works at the school. CNN’s Bakari Sellers, NBC, CBS, CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post all reported the incident nationwide and used the incident to attack Karen Pence.[33] The girl’s family finally released a statement acknowledging the initial allegation was false. They apologized to all involved: “To those young boys and their parents, we sincerely apologize for the pain and anxiety these allegations have caused,” they wrote. “To the administrators and families of Immanuel Christian School, we are sorry for the damage this incident has done to trust within the school family and the undue scorn it has brought to the school. To the broader community, who rallied in such passionate support for our daughter, we apologize for betraying your trust.”[34]
  • In April 2018, the Associated Press and The Washington Post falsely claimed that the NRA decided to ban concealed carry at an upcoming speech by Vice President Mike Pence at its convention, when it was actually the Secret Service that forced the organization to do so.[35]
  • As the 2019 impeachment sham was ginned up, both the Washington Post and Lawfareblog’s Ukrainian collusion timelines claim that Hunter Biden joined Burisma in May 2014, whereas Burisima’s own website and Deutsche Welle[36][37][38][39] reported that Hunter Biden’s hiring was just four days prior to Vice President Biden’s pledging $50 million in U.S. taxpayer provided funds to Ukraine.[40][41] Democrats issued phoney subpoenas to build an impeachment case.
  • The Washington Post falsely reported in August 2018 that the Trump Administration was denying passports to Hispanic Americans along the border with Mexico,[42][43] and The New York Times falsely reported in September 2018 that UN Ambassador Nikki Haley spent $53,000 on curtains when they actually were approved during the Obama Administration.[43][44]

Fact Checker

The Washington Post has a so-called “fact-checker” that makes fun of several famous conservatives, anything, whether people, tools, or websites. They praise to China by saying that they are not an “enemy”[45], they say Trump lied tens of thousands of times[46] (Of course, everyone lied at least once, except Jesus), but they are saying this to make fun of him, in a nasty manner. Glenn Kessler, owner of this ” fact-checker” from the Washington Post, is a very good friend of Xi Jinping[47].
