American evangelical leaders rejoiced Friday over the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Mississippi, which overturned Roe v. Wade. Many took to social media to recognize the work of those who labored in the pro-life movement over the last fifty years. They also brought attention to the work that needs to be done now that the issue has gone back to the states and called on Christians to serve vulnerable mothers and families. on June 13, 2022 at 1:05 pm

Mary Slessor was the defender of children in the mid to late 1800s. Her story is a wonderful part of the larger, ongoing Story of restoration, accomplished by Christ through His people within the time and place they are called.
