In the first certification, Carol L. Wagner, MD, Medical University of South Carolina, discusses the role of vitamin D during pregnancy, its role in maternal health and in reducing comorbidities of pregnancy, including preterm birth.
The second certification, Robert P. Heaney, MD from Creighton University explores why vitamin D is important, how it works, how we get it and how much we need.
These educational programs take approximately one hour to complete for each certification.
