Whistleblower Records Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Discussing Censorship

Footage from an employee inside Twitter shows the company’s CEO Jack Dorsey discussing how he plans to wage a massive censorship campaign in the wake of President Trump’s account suspension.

In video of a conference call released by Project Veritas, Dorsey says Trump’s suspension is merely the beginning of a wider purge.

“We are focused on one account [@realDonaldTrump] right now, but this is going to be MUCH BIGGER than just one account & it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week. And the next few weeks and go on beyond the inauguration.”

“We have to expect that, we have to be ready for that. So, the focus is certainly on this account and how it ties to real world violence. But also, we need to think much longer term around how these dynamics play out over time.”

He goes on: “I don’t think this is going away any time soon. And the moves that we’re making today around Q Anon for instance, one such example of a much broader approach that we should be looking at and going deeper on.”

Dorsey’s message to employees comes as Twitter took action against President Trump last week, claiming he violated the platform’s policies by using it to incite violence at the US Capitol. Over 70,000 other accounts were similarly purged.

In a series of tweets Wednesday, Dorsey attempted to justify banning the President of the United States, claiming Trump was dangerous to the public square.

The CEO has not explained why President Trump’s message last week urging calm and asking Capitol protesters to go home was censored from the platform.
