1970’s

1970’s

Watergate reached its climax and President Richard Nixon was forced to resign in a deep state contrived coup. The Vietnam War was still a major event in the early 1970s. Tragic events dominated the era, including the deadliest earthquake of the century, the Jonestown massacre, the Munich Olympics massacre, the taking of American hostages in Iran, and the nuclear accident at Three Mile Island. Culturally, disco became extremely popular, M*A*S*H* premiered on television, and “Star Wars” hit theaters. In the landmark case Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court made abortion legal.

The Mysterious Death of BBC Journalist Georgi Markov by the Umbrella Assassin

The Mysterious Death of BBC Journalist Georgi Markov by the Umbrella Assassin

He was running a bit late, though the fact that he was starting the second of a double shift that day would surely afford him some slack from his bosses. Georgi Markov had just parked his Citroën in a parking lot on the south side of Waterloo Bridge and had darted up a flight of steps to the bus stop, from which he could catch the ...

John Stockwell, the Former Chief of Angola’s CIA Task Force, Publishes ‘In Search of Enemies’ – an Exposé of the CIA’s Covert Action in Angola

According to Bob Baer, writing in the Pacific Free Press: What Stockwell had seen as an operative in Africa and across the Third World was a CIA that was purely interventionist – not gathering intelligence, but brutally machinating, vicious, a secret weapon of US presidents and White House policymakers to battle the Soviets for world control. CIA paramilitary operations through proxy forces – the funding of ...

In November of 1977 Dr. Ralph Moss, Assistant Director of public affairs at Sloan-Kettering, held a press-conference about the success and potential of laetrile, despite the centers desire to cover it up. William Sullivan, Former Head of FBI Intelligence, Shot in Hunting ‘Accident’, or was he Murdered?

William Sullivan is someone who would have been a problem for the conspirators if he gave evidence to HSCA. There are several reasons for this. He was given overall responsibility to carry out a FBI investigation into Lee Harvey Oswald after the assassination of JFK. Presumably he found evidence that Oswald was working for the FBI. Sullivan was also the FBI link man with the CIA ...

In many instances, CIA documents show, journalists were engaged to perform tasks for the CIA with the consent of the managements of America’s leading news organizations. Among the executives ...
